Bible Study and Evening Prayer: a time of study, rest, and renewal. Beginning at 4 pm on most Wednesdays, there is a lectionary-based Bible study, 5 pm offers private prayer in the Nave, and 5:30 PM is Evening Prayer.

Supper Seminars: Sept 17th - St.Anselm of Canterbury. Dinner is served at 6 PM, and the evening ends at 7:30 PM. All are welcomed. Sign-up sheets are available or contact the church office.

Monthly Reading Group: Beginning Sunday, Sept 21 at 9 AM during Adult Forum - Learing to Walk in the Dark by Barbara Brown Taylor.

Chesterfield Food Bank (CFB): St. John's volunteers at the CFB on the first and third of the month from 4 PM to 6 PM Contact Chris Day at chday73@gmail.com or Rusty Phoenix at rustyphoenix@comcast.net with questions. The Gathering Place:  join middle and high school youth at 1:45 PM in the church parking lot the 4th Sunday of each month on to travel to the Gathering Place for worship and fellowship.  We will return by 4 PM.

Prayer Shawl Ministry:  If you are interested in participating in this ministry, contact Sherry at sbmunday@verizon.net. You can support the needle workers with contributions to purchase yarn.  A jar is on the table at the entrance to the Nave. If using a check, put Prayer Shawl in the memo line Yarn contributions are also helpful.

          Used Book Sale:  Gently-used books are in need of a home in the parish hall. 

Men's Bible Study:  Group meets the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month at 8 AM in the parish hall for breakfast and lively discussion.  All men of the church are invited to attend.  If you would like to be on the email list or wish to have more information, contact Guy Smith at 748-6216 or cguygo@verizon.net.

Bingo Prizes Needed :  We are in need of prizes to give out to our friends at Lucy Corr during games of Bingo. Appropriate prizes include sugar-free cookies (no hard candy), socks, lap blankets, large print books, puzzles, or word-search books, boxes of tissues, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, small stuffed animals.If you can provide any of these prizes, please bring them to the church office. 

Birthday Box:   The Birthday Box is probably Outreach’s oldest project first started over 20 years ago. It is in the back of the nave waiting for kind people to feed it in celebration of a birthday or other special occasion.  Each quarter, Outreach selects an animal gift from Heifer International to purchase with the money people have given.
