Bingo Prizes Needed : We are in need of prizes to give out to our friends at Lucy Corr during games of Bingo. Appropriate prizes include sugar-free cookies (no hard candy), socks, lap blankets, large print books, puzzles, or word-search books, boxes of tissues, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, small stuffed animals. If you can provide any of these prizes, please bring them to the church office.
Birthday Box: The Birthday Box is probably Outreach’s oldest project first started over 20 years ago. It is in the back of the nave waiting for kind people to feed it in celebration of a birthday or other special occasion. Each quarter, Outreach selects an animal gift from Heifer International to purchase with the money people have given.
Martha's Pantry: As you do your grocery shopping, please pick up a few extra items for Martha’s Pantry. Supplies at the pantry are low and all types of food are needed. Canned meats and fish, pasta meals, soups, and cereals are particularly appreciated. Recently Martha’s Pantry has experienced an increase in requests--perhaps because the Dinwiddie food pantry has closed. Your food donations will be greatly appreciated. Donation boxes are located in the narthex and outside the church office.
